On 20.3.2023 the CIAO hosted by Institute of Methodologies for Environmental Analysis of Italy has been initially accepted by the Interim ACTRIS Leader for aerosol remote sensing as part of the ACTRIS National Facility labelling process.
This confirms that the component has completed the labelling step 1a, Initial acceptance, and enters step 1b, performance evaluation, dedicated to implementing the planned updates to make the component fully compliant with ACTRIS requirements and for evaluating the performance of the facility and component. During step 1b the component is already under the operation support offered by the respective Topical Centre CARS.
